On to the new year!
Well, the halls have been undeck, the tree is unfrocked and everything is back in the attic. These are the bittersweet days, the ones left between Christmas and the new year. A time to connect with ones self. And so it is that I have been contemplating the past year with its achievements and trials...MANY trials. After reflected upon the previous (where I've been, where I am and where I want to go) I've managed to come up with a set of resolutions. My foremost goal for 2008, will remain the same, continued support of World Vision and ASPCA as well as local causes. My husband and I are far to fortunate not to. Secondly, and this one I may regret, but I've just signed up for the Tacoma half marathon. I'm looking forward to regaining the energy running has given me in the past. Thirdly, it is time to re-evaluate the insurances, investments, retirement planning, etc...all that stuff that is critically important, but never gets proper attention. And finally, continue to refine and commit myself to a cruelty-free lifestyle. (Thank you honey for your support, you are an angel.)
